Scavenge

Head out for crates of scrap, rusted iron and ammo. The good stuff is far from the Beacons, and so is the trouble.

Fortify

Get back and build. Walls, barricades, turrets and lights from the build wheel, all around your Beacon.

Hold the night

4:00

The horde comes for every Beacon with a party online. Hold until dawn. Lose the light and the run is over.

What you're in for

Your Beacon

Your party's base, respawn point and armoury. Plant it anywhere on the map, and defend it with everything you have.

Build what you need

Hold Q for the build wheel: walls, crates, turrets and lights in wood, metal and concrete.

Nights that escalate

Pouncers that pin you, Diggers that tunnel under the walls, and boss nights with the Juggernaut, the Abomination and the Brood Mother.

Four classes

Engineer, Medic, Scout and Gunner. Swap between nights, play for your squad.

Guns and attachments

Buy with scrap at the armoury and upgrade to tier III. Smelt iron into bars for attachments that are yours for good.

Renown that sticks

Levels, titles and Beacon lights carry over between runs and maps. Nothing you can buy makes you stronger.
